Designed to resemble a traditional Balinese village, this beachfront complex is comprised of 5 distinct areas, amidst 5 acres of tropical gardens. Right in the centre of Bali's major tourist area, Sanur makes a good base for exploring the island, just a 30 minute drive from Ubud and 25 minutes from the airport. Quiet and relatively laid back, Sanur still has the feeling of old Bali. Fine hotels, water sport activities, restaurants, traditional drama and modern entertainment venues mingle with more traditional aspects. On a clear day, you can see Indonesia's highest mountain, Gunung Agung, from Sanur.
